Some surveys require very special qualifications and training. Many environmental, governmental, municipal and especially MDOT surveys require prequalifications for experience, dedicated training and continued development for the specific purpose of protecting the public.

The staff at GDI have HAZWOPER environmental training and as an organization have fulfilled prequalification for several service categories for the Michigan Department of Transportation and other municipal agencies. Additionally, GDI has two licensed Certified Federal Surveyors to conduct surveys on trust lands for the Bureau of Indian Affairs under the United States Secretary of the Interior.
